Who We Are

KB Partners is a suburban Chicago based investment firm focused on early stage venture capital investments at the intersection of sports and technology. We help build dominant new enterprises by working in partnership with talented entrepreneurs and experienced managers.

We have recently completed investing out of KB Partners Myriad Opportunity Funds I and II and will not be making any new investments out of such funds. Going forward, we will continue to vigorously support our existing portfolio companies both financially and operationally. We will also consider funding select one-off opportunities via Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) or other avenues.

Our Approach

We look for great teams who are building innovative companies at the intersection of sports and technology. Our angel investing approach and venture capital structure allow us to be flexible and opportunistic investors, while our operating experience allows us to provide hands-on support to entrepreneurs transforming their companies into market leaders.

    • Early stage – we are usually the first institutional capital into a company.

    • $1 million to $3 million initially with a similar amount reserved for follow-on investment.
